Their small house is located at the far end of the Roma settlement. Gábor inhibited the abandoned place in 2014. (2017)
They supplement their income with money earned from collecting snails and picking mushroom and herb. They can harvest up to 15 kg of herbs at each occasion, which the vendor then takes to the surrounding towns or even to Budapest for resale. (2017)

Since Kálmán's passing, Gábor has started to attend a faith community in Drégelypalánk, where he learns to play church hymns on the guitar. He feels that being close to God will help him to maintain a more meaningful life. (2022)
